Daylong Retreats in the DC Metro Area
I regularly lead daylong retreats in the DC area. Like many, you may find these days of intensive practice to be not only profoundly inspiring and refreshing, but a great way to connect with like-minded people in the area.
Week-long Residential Vipassana Retreat (Spring, Fall and at New Years)
Three times a year I co-lead a classical Vipassana retreat. You receive instruction in Vipassana meditation and join over 100 practitioners for 5-7 days of silent practice. You’ll be supported with a number of interviews with a teacher as well as instruction and evening dharma talks.
The Energy Intensive: Yoga, Meditation and Breathwork
Twice a year I lead a three-day weekend intensive designed to support you in releasing deeply held tensions and explore the transformational principles of yoga. Offered at Kripalu Center in the Berkshire Mountains of western Massachusetts, I have been leading this retreat for over fifteen years with my friend and colleague Shobhan Richard Faulds, teacher, author and former president of Kripalu Center. Come experience Kripalu Yoga’s unique approach to personal transformation in a program that’s practical, integrative, and fun.
The Still, Small Voice Within: Meditation, Focusing and Intuition Training
This five-day residential retreat at Kripalu Center is dedicated to exploring the relationship between meditation and intuition. Using the body and the ‘felt sense’ as your primary tool, you can develop a reliable doorway to sensing what is true for you. This is a wonderful program to explore the the most important issues in your life and explore more deeply the practices in my six-CD set, Body-Centered Inquiry.
